Not the most pristine setting. But what it lacks in view, it makes up for in sediment! And the color green. Lotsa green...

Roses Lake, located near Chelan, is one of Washington's finest small water fisheries. I caught a few species, but many more inhabit the lake! Will I stay sane enjoying the awesome fishing? Or will the excellent fishing drive me to MADNESS!? #fishwa #washingtonstate #fishing #crappie #browntrout #rainbowtrout

I share my favorite method to catch more fish, especially thru the ice. Short ice season this year, but had a blast out there. And a surprise catch at the end! (Unless you've seen the hashtags) #walleye #icefishing #yellowperch #bladebait
Scooteney Jumbos (Washington ice fishing)

Less perch this year, but some jumbos! I guess big fish often don't move fast. My buddy Brad (instragram: Sagesteppe_carping) fish Scooteney Reservoir. Weird day weather-wise, but #blessed for our time on the ice. Filmed January 20, 2024.

    I've only tried Float 20. Are there usually empty spots on the other floats to crab off from? Have you had to move due to a boat coming in to dock?

    Yes they will eat dogfish. Their is a group of guys illegally targeting ghem for internet fame here in Tacoma. They sometimes use dogfish cut into chunks for bait. The plan if a game warden confronts them is to say they are targeting skate.

    They are no longer semi-precious. The Ellensburg blue Agate is now considered a precious stone and is the only Agate considered such. Section 18 North of Ellensburg just got shut down and is no longer open to the public to access so the stone just became even more rare than it was before. CHEERS 🥳🍻

    Ngl $500 for the Scotty is a bit of a ripoff for what it is. $300-$350 would be more appropriate considering its capability. I picked up the ace for $650 recently, Scotty works just fine if you can’t justify the extra cash but in terms of value per dollar definitely seems lower

    • @WAFishQuest
      @WAFishQuest 21 день назад

      You ain't wrong! It's dang near bulletproof is it's greatest asset. I assume the Ace is too tho. But agreed, the price is crazytown. And this was filmed way pre-suoer inflation. Thanks for the comment!

    Yup piddocks have detached siphon tips (geoduck is fused), and they have very distinctive little white nodules on the rim. And horse clams can also look similar but their siphom tends to be darker w/ barnacle and like a singular slit. Geoduck is big, ovular, fused, and clean flesh. Piddock is edible but definitely not as tasty, pretty similar to horse clam
